A Successful Start

Jeff, an engineer and his wife Debbie, a sales representative are in their early forties, have worked hard and been avid savers over the last 15 years. As a result, they have no debt, max out their yearly 401(k) contributions and have built up up a large cash cushion.

While Jeff and Debbie realize they may be more prudent than the vast majority of their peers, they are also at point in their lives where they are considering starting a family. To that end, they seek to ensure financial security moving forward as their lives change and their family grows. Both Jeff and Debbie recognize that children will be a significant adjustment, however, they are not willing to deviate from a track leading to retirement within the next 15 years.

As such, Integrity Advisory took another look at the investment strategies for their 401(k), and cash management, as well as identifying additional items to consider and steps they may wish to take as they enter this new phase in their life.
